Hello, These are the summaries of our week's accomplishments which we used to write our Thursday KidBlog. Please ask your student for  details if you are interested in finding out more! Skating Next Week!   Skating details  on our website . ECS Open House & Registration Kindergarten & Pre-Kindergarten  Open House  is Tuesday, January 22 from 5-7 pm.    Pre-Kindergarten  and  Kindergarten registration will be available online on  Wednesday, January 23.        

Welcome to the new year! We have been hard at work, already - no more breaks for us.  Below are two pictures of what we have been working on.  The first picture is an introduction to SWI based on the works of Peter Bowers. The second picture is our brain storming that we did prior to writing our Thursday's KidBlog post.  Thursdays are the 3 things I have learned this week, 2 things I liked about this week, and 1 question I have going forward post.  The student are writing a weekly review, but in a prescribed manner. Ask you child to show you his/her KidBlog post for all of the details about this week. Please remember that report cards will be coming out at the end of the month.  The Powerschool portal will be closed to parents while we complete the report card comments.  If you have not signed the permission forms for skating, please do so soon as we go for the 21-24 of January.
