Hello, This will be my final post of 2019! Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Happy Hanukkah! We have had a great week making things with our grade 1 partners and interacting with our grade level cohort. We have not completed a lot of academia, but we are ready for the break. See you in January! Remember the first day back is January 6. Happy New Year!

Hello, I have snapped photos of the students' card art for you to view. There will be order forms coming home as well as a prototype of the card but I wanted you to have a preview because I think they turned out very well.

Hello Robina Families,  We hope you have a great summer! Shortly before school starts (late August) you will receive an email from your child’s new teacher letting you know what to expect in September in their classroom.  We will have a Meet the Staff  BBQ Event for all of our families on Thursday, August 29 from 4:00 to 5:30 pm.  The first day of school for Grade 1-4 students is September 3, 2019. School supply information and lists can be found on our website .   Additional Summer and September Information can be found on our website on our home page. During the summer, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact our Principal, Mrs. Kloschinsky, by email: kathy.kloschinsky@blackgold.ca

Please remember to ask your child for the details of what we have been working on - there has been a lot of material covered. Your questions will help to reinforce the learning that has taken place inside our classroom.

In celebration of National Multiple Births Awareness Day, we are having Multiples Day on Tuesday!  Staff and students are going to dress up as twins, triplets, quadruplets or other multiples! May 30th is the last day to order a yearbook!   The 40 page, full colour yearbook is only $23!  You can purchase a yearbook through  PowerSchool  or if you would like to pay with cash or a cheque, please bring the money into the office or send it with your child with a note stating the money is for a yearbook.  Mrs. Kloschinsky and Mrs. Horrocks work on the yearbook and use pictures right up until the last day of school. They yearbook gets completed over the summer and will be delivered in the fall.
