January 20, 2015 IMPORTANT INFORMATION: 1.) Skiing February 2, 2015   The grade 4 classes will be skiing at Rabbit Hill on February 2, 2015.  Below are the details as provided by Mr. Henderson. Departure time:  8:30  - Return to school  4:00  - need to arrange for pick up as buses will not be available Pricing options: a) Full package - rental equipment (skis or snowboard); lift pass, lesson, and transportation - $43.00                                b) Lift, lesson, and Transportation (have own equipment) - $26.00                                c) Rentals, lesson, and transportation (have own hill pass) - $22.00                                d) Lesson and transportation (have own equipment and lift pass) - $5.00 Students will need to bring a lunch.  There is a concession available should students wish to bring money to buy lunch or snacks. Deadline for permission forms and payment is  January 30 , 3:30 - NO late payments or payments on the day of the trip

January 16, 2015 Hello, all! We have had a very busy few weeks.  The weather has not been very nice - until this week - and so we have had a lot of indoor recesses.  This has led to many students with cabin fever.  Thank goodness we have this beautiful weather now and the students can burn off some of their energy outside! Many of our students are involved in leadership projects such as the delivery of milk and hot lunches, SWAT (Student Wellness Action Team), and the Office team.  We applaud these students for their leadership, and encourage others to become involved as well.   Our Science unit of Waste and Our World has concluded.  we are reviewing the unit in preparation for the unit final on January 22.  Students have been encouraged to review at home as well, and they may have their duo-tangs in their backpacks tonight.  Please spend a few minutes with your child to help him/her prepare for the exam.
