Good morning! Now that I have figured out how to post pictures to this blog, I am posting all photos I have from activities in the last 6 months! I hope you enjoy them... First Day of School... Grade 4 Ski/Snowboard Days The Grade Four classes will be going skiing twice this year. This first trip is January 29, 2018 with the second one occurring on March 5, 2018 . For both trips we will leave the school promptly at 8:30 am and arrive back at the school at 4:00 pm. If your student normally takes the bus home they will need an alternate ride home from the school that day. Please see the itinerary below Time Activity 8:25am Load bus 8:30am Bus leaves for Rabbit Hill 8:50am Bus arrives at Rabbit Hill 9:00am-3:40pm skiing/snowboarding 3:40pm Load bus 3:45pm Bus leaves for Robina Baker 4:00pm Bus arrives at Robina Baker Every child is required to take a lesson at their level and will then have the opportunity to free ski the remainder of the day. Welcome to the new year! We have been hard at work, already - no more breaks for us. Below are two pictures of what we have been working on. The first picture is an introduction to SWI based on the works of Peter Bowers. The second picture is our brain storming that we did prior to writing our Thursday's KidBlog post. Thursdays are the 3 things I have learned this week, 2 things I liked about this week, and 1 question I have going forward post. The student are writing a weekly review, but in a prescribed manner. Ask you child to show you his/her KidBlog post for all of the details about this week. Please remember that report cards will be coming out at the end of the month. The Powerschool portal will be closed to parents while we complete the report card comments. If you have not signed the permission forms for skating, please do so soon as we go for the 21-24 of January. We will be skating for another week in February. Please check...
